It had been a LONG time since I read it last, so I'd actually forgotten most of it, and was very pleasantly surprised. It was even better than I remembered. I haven't read too many of Rosamunde Pilcher's books, but so far it's my experience that her 'long' books (400+ pages) are MUCH better than her 'short' books (200'ish pages)... they seem quite rushed often.
